Ben And Jerry's Product Line is now 20% Vegan

Ben And Jerry's Product Line is now 20% Vegan

January 28, 2018

Earlier this month Ben And Jerry's released two new non-dairy flavors;

Peanut Butter Half Baked

Ben And Jerry's Peanut Butter Half Baked Non-Dairy

& Cinnamon Buns

Ben And Jerry's Cinnamon Buns Non-Dairy Frozen Treat

Both of these ice creams are Dairy-Free and completely Vegan!  Peanut Butter Half Baked includes peanut butter, chocolate, fudge brownies and peanut butter cookie dough!  Cinnamon Buns includes cinnamon flavored ice cream, cinnamon streusel, and cinnamon bun dough!

These additions are part of Ben and Jerry's every-growing list of non-dairy ice creams.  This line started in 2016 with the release of Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Coffee Caramel Fudge, Chunky Monkey, and PB & Cookies.

In 2017 Ben And Jerry's added Caramel Almond Brittle, Coconut Seven Layer Bar, and Cherry Garcia to the Non-Dairy list.  With the addition of Peanut Butter Half Baked and Cinnamon Buns this past month, 20% of Ben and Jerry's product line is now vegan!

This is fantastic news as just a few years ago Ben and Jerry's did not have any vegan products.  As the demand for vegan alternatives increases, so has the supply.  Ben and Jerry's isn't the only food producer to bring on more vegan alternatives; companies such as Domino's, TGI Fridays, and even McDonald's have started catering to vegans.  If we would like food producers to only offer vegan options, we have to show them that there is more demand for vegan products than non-vegan products!

Have you tried any of these flavors yet?  Let us know your favorite in the comments below!
