Vegan Girl Scout Cookies

Which Girl Scout Cookies Are Vegan?

February 25, 2018

It's that time of year again!  The cookies everyone loves from their childhood are back, but which of them are vegan?  This all depends on where you live, and which baker (either ABC Bakers or Little Brownie Bakers) is associated with that area.  Here is a rough map of which area supplies what -
Now let's take a look into which of them are vegan!

1. Thin Mints

Both ABC Bakers and Little Brownie Bakers make Thin Mints and they are both vegan!  So no matter where you live, be sure to enjoy the Girl Scout's most popular cookie.

2. Peanut Butter Patties

The Peanut Butter Patties are indeed vegan as long as they are made by ABC Bakers! These go great with a number of nut-milks :)

 3. Girl Scout S'mores

This chocolate-coated graham cracker with crème is definitely a classic, and if you are in ABC Bakers territory, they're vegan too!

 4. Lemonades

The texture of shortbread and the tangy-ness of lemon mixed into a cookie isn't something we'd like to miss out on.  Luckily ABC Baker's version of Lemonades are vegan!

5. Thanks-A-Lots

Fudge on the underside, the whole thing in my stomach because ABC Baker's version of Thanks-A-Lots are vegan!

While ABC Baker's has the most vegan options, both companies provide vegan thin mints! These are great to enjoy and surprise your non-vegan friends/family with as a vegan treat.  As the demand for vegan snacks continues to rise, hopefully Little Brownie Backers will change more of their recipes to match ABC's Vegan Girl Scout Cookies.

Which of these are your favorite?  Let us know in the comments below!
